Based in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto (north of Kyoto City), WORD ARTS provides opportunities for non-native speakers of Japanese to learn Japanese calligraphy.
The instructor gives lessons in English, with more than 15 years of experience in English-Japanese translation.

Writing Japanese characters may not be so easy, but it is worth learning. It will show you another way of seeing the world.

You will learn a wide range of characters little by little, in various styles of writing.
Please come and get pictures of words used in Japan.
